I lie awake tonight,
See the stars in the sky,
It looks just like your eyes,
When we said our last goodbyes,
That night was hazy,
But I remembered it so well,
The silent grew colder,
As my eyes dug deep into yours,
Despite the night,
Our surrounding grew stuffy,
An inferno burning in our hearts,
Where we were standing,
It's gnawing us to the depths,
Then just like that,
In a flash of lightning,
Your back towards me,
Silence came again,
Dancing and twirling around me,
Standing alone by the moon lit.
